What is Marley Drug?

Marley Drug is a fully licensed, U.S. based pharmacy located in North Carolina. What started out as a typical 'mom and pop' drugstore in 2003 has now evolved into a state of the art, nationally recognized pharmacy that proudly services patients in all 50 states as well as the District of Columbia and several U.S. territories (Guam, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands). Our team of skilled pharmacists have over 60 years combined experience in the industry and strive be your one-stop option for all your medication needs.

How does my doctor send a prescription to Marley Drug?

Your doctor has 3 options by which they can send a prescription to Marley Drug.

  1. E-scribe to "Marley Drug" in Winston-Salem. We are the only "Marley Drug" in the entire U.S. and our goal is to offer our services to all customers where they may live.
  2. Fax to our pharmacy and our friendly staff will take care of the rest for you. Our fax number is 336-771-9921.
  3. Call 1-800-286-6781 and we will take care of the rest for you, saving you time and effort.

How do I transfer my prescriptions to Marley Drug?

If you have an active prescription at another pharmacy, simply give us a call at 1-800-810-7790 and we’d be happy to request a transfer on your behalf.

How do I refill my medication?

  • If you are on the Marley Drug website you can refill your prescription(s) by selecting “I want to refill an active prescription” during the checkout process.
  • If you are using the Marley Drug RefillPro App all you have to do is click "Order Refills" and scan the barcode of your existing prescription(s). It's that easy. The RefillPro App can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or from Google Play.
  • If you know your prescription number, call us at 336-771-7672 and press 1 to order you refills through our Interactive Voice Recording (IVR) feature.

Can I submit a handwritten prescription?

We can only accept the original document for all handwritten prescriptions. Pictures of handwritten prescriptions including photos and faxes are not accepted. Here are some options for how we can get your handwritten prescription filled as quickly as possible:

  • Mail it to us directly, and once we receive it we’ll give you a call. Our mailing address is: 5008 Peters Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, 27127.
  • Ask your doctor to fax it into us (336-771-9921), or call it in at 1-336-771-7672.
  • Ask your doctor to send us the prescription electronically to "Marley Drug" in Winston-Salem, NC.


I am out of refills, can you help?

If we have received a prescription from you in the past and it is out of refills, we would be happy to contact your doctor to request a refill on your behalf.

There are a few ways which you can do this:

  • If you are using the Marley Drug RefillPro App all you have to do is click "Order Refills" and scan the barcode of your current prescription. We will then request a refill authorization from your healthcare provider and contact you when we receive the new prescription.
  • If you are on our website you can use our online portal. First click to refill your prescription; next, select the medication for which you need a refill authorization for and give us permission to contact your healthcare provider on your behalf. Once that's done we will handle the rest and contact you when we have received the new prescription.

How does Marley Drug deliver medications?

For all of our valued customers, we offer shipping via USPS Priority Mail. Shipping is free (USPS Priority Mail) for medication orders of 180 days or more.

Since we are a brick-and-mortar pharmacy based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, you can certainly pick up your medications from us in-store or use our convenient drive-through. We look forward to seeing you when you come in.

Can you ship all types of medications?

We do not ship controlled substances or refrigerated medications.

All items (prescription, or over-the-counter) which require refrigeration can only be purchased on site at Marley Drug.

It is a store policy that we will not ship out of state any DEA schedule II, III, IV, or V controlled substances. Opioid containing medications can only be purchased on site at Marley Drug.

What is Marley Drug's Wholesale Price List?

Marley Drug's Wholesale Price List was created almost 13 years ago for us to provide your medication in a 6-month (180 day) or 12-month (360 day) supply. This cuts down on your time spent getting prescriptions filled and reduces your overall costs. Shorter fills are also available.

How does a 6- or 12-month supply of medication work?

Very simple - we ensure you receive a 6- or 12-month supply of your medication at a convenient low price delivered to your door free of charge. We will insure the medication you receive will not expire during the 6 or 12 months you are taking your medication as prescribed.

Do I require a prescription for my medications?

You require a prescription for all medications that you order from us.

I can't find my prescriber. What should I do?

When asked who prescribed this medication click the dropdown and select 'Add New Provider'. Enter your provider's Zip Code and Full Name and in most cases you will be able to find your provider.

If you are still running into issues there is an option to enter the information yourself. Click 'Add Custom' located in the bottom right of the pop-up and you will be prompted to enter your provider's First Name, Last Name, Zip Code (of their clinic), Phone Number, and Fax Number (optional). You can then click 'ADD & SAVE' and continue on with the ordering process.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not accept inurance for mail order prescriptions. However, if you visit Marley Drug in person for your prescriptions, we'd be happy to work with you and your insurance provider.

I can't find my medication on your website.

Don't worry. We will help you find your medication. Please call 1-800-810-7790 and one of our friendly staff members will be able to help you out.

Are you a licensed pharmacy?

Yes we are a licensed pharmacy that services patients in all 50 states as well as the District of Columbia and several U.S. territories (Guam, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands). We are based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina so if you are ever in the area drop by at 5008 Peters Creek Parkway, we love meeting our very valued customers.

Where are your medications purchased from?

Our medications are purchased directly from licensed and trusted wholesalers throughout the U.S. to ensure our valued customers are receiving the safest and most cost-effective medication available.

How long will it take me to receive my order?

We have two options for your delivery service:

  1. USPS Priority Delivery which takes 2-3 business days and is free for you on orders of 180 days or more. For orders under 180 days, we charge a flat fee of $10 for shipping.
  2. USPS Priority Delivery Express which takes 1-2 business days and will cost you $22.75.

How do these medications compare to those from my local retail pharmacy?

Our medications are identical to the medications you will find at your local retail pharmacy. The only difference would be that we may be more cost-effective for your needs.

What form of payments do you accept?

We accept all major U.S.- issued credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept HSA and FSA debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard logo and in certain situations we accept cheque and money order. Give us a call at 336-771-7672 if you have questions about payment methods and we’d be happy to help.

Do note if your HSA or FSA card is not accepted during checkout, you may need to contact the issuing company and request they add Marley Drug to their approved merchant list. We do not currently accept payments made using cards issued by banks outside the U.S., or through PayPal.

My medication has expired. Will it still work?

Our pharmacists recommend that you do not use expired medication. If you have any questions, please reach out to our friendly staff at 1-800-810-7790 who are there to help you.

How are your prices so low?

We get that question a lot! The answer is we price ALL of our generic drugs based on what it costs us to acquire them. Most chain pharmacies price their generics based on what the brand version costs, even if it only costs them pennies to acquire the generic.

Do you ship to all 50 states?

Marley Drug can dispense and ship medications to all 50 states as well as the District of Columbia and several U.S. territories (Guam, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands).

Can I cancel my order?

If you need to change or cancel an order that has been placed call the pharmacy at 1-800-810-7790 and we will be happy to help you.

Do you accept HSA or FSA?

We accept HSA and FSA debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard logo. If your HSA or FSA card is not accepted during checkout, you may need to contact the issuing company and request they add Marley Drug to their approved merchant list.

Is there a minimum or maximum quantity I can get dispensed within each individual order?

Our minimum is 30 days (1 month) and our maximum is 360 days (12 months). The best value for our clients is either 180 days (6 months) or 360 days (12 months).

Will my drug costs count towards my insurance deductible?

Depending on your insurance, they may allow you to submit your receipts towards your deductible. A receipt will be included in your shipment which you can use for proof of purchase.
